Growth, innovation, and supply chains at the heart of the 57th edition

Umbria increasingly an agri-food hub. Growth, innovation, and supply chains take center stage at the 57th edition.

Strong public and professional attendance: the event confirms its position among the main Italian fairs in the sector

Agriumbria and Umbria Fiere strengthen their position at the center of the national exhibition system, consolidating their strategic role in a spirit of cooperation with the main sector events. It is a model increasingly oriented toward building synergies among events, territories and production chains, capable of enhancing the entire Italian agricultural and livestock sector.

The 57th edition of Agriumbria confirms itself as an essential appointment for companies, breeders, institutions and families. The opening day on Friday, characterized by decidedly winter-like weather conditions, did not discourage the flow of visitors and professional operators, who still ensured significant attendance from the first hours of opening.

This was a clear sign of the strength of the event, capable of attracting visitors even in uncertain weather conditions, and of its recognized centrality within the national exhibition landscape. The weekend then recorded a gradual increase in attendance, with a particularly busy Sunday full of families, operators and enthusiasts, confirming the strong bond between Agriumbria and the territory.

As Antonio Forini, President of Umbria Fiere SpA, emphasizes: "Agriumbria is agriculture in the fullest and most authentic sense of the term. The attendance recorded, despite a start marked by bad weather, demonstrates the solidity of the event and its ability to speak to different audiences. Two fundamental dimensions coexist and integrate here: the popular one, linked to tradition and rural culture, and that of innovation, enterprise and contemporary agricultural work."

Official attendance figures will be available in the coming days, but initial feedback confirms significant turnout, above 85,000 visitors, placing Agriumbria among the main sector fairs at national level and the most important in central and southern Italy, as well as an absolute point of reference for the livestock sector.

In this context, Umbria Fiere strongly consolidates and relaunches its role as a strategic infrastructure for regional economic development and for Umbria's positioning within the national exhibition system. It is no longer only an organizational venue, but a true hub connecting companies, innovation, institutions and markets. The relaunch path that has begun, which includes a significant restyling and modernization of the exhibition district, represents a structural and long-term choice: an investment aimed at rethinking spaces, services and functions in a contemporary, sustainable and competitive way.

"Special thanks go to all the public and private partners who make Agriumbria possible," adds President Antonio Forini. "The quality of the event comes from shared work: with trade associations, professional organizations, research bodies, institutions and companies, every year we build not only a fair, but a technical, technological and cultural offer capable of interpreting the sector's changes. It is precisely this network that allows Agriumbria to be a true place of discussion, where ideas, solutions and visions for the future of agriculture are developed."

In this 2026 edition, particular attention was paid to the major current issues that are redefining the future of the sector: from climate change to the sustainable management of natural resources, from ecological transition to technological innovation. The theme of food sovereignty and security was also central, becoming increasingly relevant in an international context characterized by geopolitical instability and market tensions.

Agriumbria is therefore confirmed not only as an exhibition showcase, but as a true hub of relationships, knowledge and opportunities, capable of combining economic, social and cultural dimensions.
