Agriumbria, a celebration of Italian agriculture. The event confirms its dual vocation: business and popular celebration
A dual vocation, business and popular celebration, which according to operators is difficult to find in other fairs dedicated to agriculture. These two souls represent the strength of this major event, both in terms of numbers and of the quality of its commercial offer.
Stefano Ansideri, President of Umbriafiere Spa, does not hide his satisfaction: "Agriumbria is the meeting place for people interested in the evolution of our agriculture, people interested in seeking a balance between humanity and the land. These were three intense, beautiful and stimulating days, especially because of the level of debate and the proposals put forward by trade associations, institutions and the bodies that are partners of the event, whom I thank. Agriumbria represents, better than any other promotional or marketing action, the best showcase for our agri-livestock enterprises, which have the opportunity to present themselves directly and without mediation to families and consumers. Here companies find, in a single space, both the professional audience and final consumers. This uniqueness, which is recognized by many, is a source of satisfaction for us. Unlike previous editions, where the non-professional public, families, was concentrated on Sunday, what we can say is that in 2024 it was already present from the first day. I want to thank the Agriumbria staff and all the businesses and companies that trust us, and I hope for a 2025 in which we can respond to the many companies that apply but remain excluded due to space constraints."
Agriumbria is a phenomenon widely recognized by the main Italian operators, who see this Exhibition as the prime place for agreements, contracts and synergies. Truly many people, coming from all over Italy, with greater attendance from central and southern regions, arrived at Umbriafiere from the early hours of Sunday. There were many operators, but also many families with children who, as tradition dictates, literally filled the animal aisles, especially those of the cattle.
The partial data confirm significant attendance, which according to the trend should at least match that of 2023, exceeding 85,000 visitors. This figure alone describes the level reached by Agriumbria, the largest sector fair in central and southern Italy and the leading national event for the livestock sector.
